The sinus-Venous is our most powerful stent and is especially developed for venous indications. The unique hybrid-design combines outstanding radial force with high flexibility, which is necessary to overcom heavy venous obstructions.

  • Made seamlessly from one piece nitinol;
  • High-grade electro-polishing;
  • No significant stent shortening;
  • Application device with radiopaque markers;
  • Smooth-running pull-back technique;
  • Anti-jump-technique for exact stent placement;
  • Braided sheath and flexible tip.

Arguments:

  • Alternative to open surgery;
  • Short invervention time;
  • Reduced infection risk;
  • Reduced blood loss;
  • Reduced hospital stay;
  • Shortner rehabilitation time.

The challenge:

In contrast to the arterial high pressure system the morphological characteristics of the venous low pressure system with the comparatively thin muscle layer presents a real challenge. Venous stents require a considerably higher radial force then arterial stents, but must be as flexible.
